KPTC(Kuwaitian Public Transportation Company), a longtime customer of Daewoo Bus in Kuwait, again shook hands with Daewoo Bus.
In August, Daewoo Bus was announced as the winner of KPTC's tender for 77 units of city buses defeating European competitors such as VOLVO and Mercedes Benz.
In addition, the Chairman and executives of KPTC together visited Korea in October to discuss further business with Daewoo Bus. A delegation of KPTC also visited the Shanghai plant of Daewoo Bus and showed interest in the capability of the Shanghai plant and Daewoo's Chinese
